Event Chicagoland Feeder Basketball League and Tpurnaments

“THE GENEVA FEEDER BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL INVITATIONAL IS AN OFFICIAL QUALIFIER FOR THE 2023 ILLINOIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD IN CHAMPAIGN ON MARCH 15th-17TH. ALL TEAMS FINISHING 1ST OR 2ND IN EACH DIVISION WILL QUALIFY FOR THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TO BATTLE TOP TEAMS FROM TOWNS THROUGHOUT ILLINOIS”.  

Pool Play Into Bracket Play - Boys and Girls Tournament

The Geneva 2024 Boys and Girls Tournament is structured as Pool Play into Bracket Play. Each division will be randomly divided into pools for two games of pool play. Performance in pool play will determine bracket placement. Teams are ranked out of each pool as:

1. Record W/L
2. Head to Head
3. Points Allowed
4. Points Diff

Boys Division

• 8th Grade Gold
• 8th Grade Silver
• 8th Grade Bronze
• 7th Grade Gold
• 7th Grade Silver
• 7th Grade Bronze

Girls Division

• 8th Grade Gold
• 7th Grade Gold
• 7th Grade Silver

Each Bracket will include two games to determine bracket 1st and 2nd place. Teams finishing in 1st or 2nd in each bracket will receive an invitation to play in the State Tournament.
